In the Willowburn Range, fans of spicy and aromatic single malts will find what they are looking for. The barley malt for these whiskies is 25 to 50 percent peat or wood smoked, and the distillates are aged in hand-selected fortified and liqueur wine casks.

The Limited Exclusive Edition of the Hercynian Single Malt matured in First Fill Bourbon Barrels from the Heaven Hill whiskey distillery in Kentucky, USA. After five years of aging, the Harz distillers bottled 540 bottles of their special edition in a rich amber color.
