The Hearach is the first Single Malt Whisky from the Isle of Harris, a small island off the northwest coast of Scotland. The Hearach is bottled at 46% vol., non-chill filtered and free from artificial colorants.
The Hearach is matured for years in carefully selected ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Fino Sherry casks. To crown it all, the Single Malt Whisky is vatted for several more weeks in Sherry butts to create the finest whisky on the island.
On the nose, fine, smoky peat notes are enveloped by toasted malt aromas.
The palate is like a symphony of aromas, combining the taste of homemade apple compote, candied ginger, and sweetly refreshing vanilla and honey notes. True to its origins, The Hearach displays subtle maritime notes reminiscent of a walk along the dunes.
The long-lasting finish leaves notes of creamy, airy whipped cream paired with aromas of fresh leather.
Serving suggestion: We recommend our The Hearach Single Malt Whisky neat in a nosing glass, or with chilled whisky stones in a Harris Tumbler.
