Taittinger Nocturne Sec City Lights Rosé

Nocturne Rosé is the charming 'Sec' rosé variation of the white Cuvée Nocturne. In the style of Prestige Rosé, it blends 30% Chardonnay with 70% Pinot Noir and Meunier, with a small proportion of red still wine giving it its vibrant color and intensity. Sensual and full-bodied on the palate, it is the perfect champagne for all night owls.

Taste:
Taittinger Nocturne Sec City Lights Rosé presents itself intensely and extravagantly, glowing pink. The perlage forms a delicate and fine chain of bubbles. On the nose, a bouquet of juicy red fruits (red berries, currants, cherries) precedes elegant notes of freshly baked brioche and toasted bread. The initial impression is soft and creamy, yet always very fresh. On the palate, it is fragrant, fresh, and full-bodied with red berry fruit and fine toasted notes; silky tannins give Nocturne its gentle structure.

Production:
Taittinger Nocturne Rosé is a "Sec" Champagne consisting of 30% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier. It is blended from around thirty different crus and several harvests and aged for at least four years before disgorgement. 15% still red wine, made from the best Pinot Noirs from Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys, added to the final assemblage, gives this Cuvée its incomparable color. The so-called Dosage Sec (17.5 g/l cane sugar) and maturation through slow cellar aging give this champagne its balance and sweetness.

Serving Suggestion:
Taittinger Nocturne Rosé is a champagne for early and late evenings. It can accompany a gourmet dessert (even chocolate-based) as well as a chic snack break and will carry champagne lovers through to the end of the night.
