Constant weather changes, the so-called \"Four seasons in a day\" with an average of up to 22.5°C, allow distillates to mature fundamentally – creating a \u003cstrong\u003ewhisky that is unique elsewhere.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eStarward is launching two of its genuinely Australian whiskies on the German market. \u003cstrong\u003eTwo-Fold is an uncomplicated, versatile, well-rounded blend.\u003c\/strong\u003e The whisky combines distillates from malted barley, fermented with a darker brewer's yeast for a fruity character, and aromatic wheat. The new makes mature separately in barriques and hogsheads previously used for red wine. \u003cstrong\u003eNova is Starward's single malt.\u003c\/strong\u003e The Melbourne distillers around founder David Vitale use the typical darker and somewhat maltier brewing barley of the \"Pale Malt\" type for Starward as a base.
