Die Cidrerie Sorre liegt in Plerguer, rund 30 Autominuten von Saint-Malo entfernt, und wird seit 1952 von der Familie Sorre über inzwischen drei Generationen geführt. Auf 30 Hektar Streuobstwiesen kultiviert die Familie 25 verschiedene Mostapfelsorten – eine für die bretonische Cidre-Tradition ungewöhnlich große Vielfalt.
Herstellung
Die Marinières-Reihe ist die Premiumlinie der Cidrerie, benannt nach dem berühmten bretonischen Streifenshirt – jede Flasche trägt die charakteristischen Streifen sowie maritime Motive wie Anker und Ruder. Die Äpfel für den Brut Marinière stammen größtenteils aus handverlesener Ernte, sowohl von den eigenen Streuobstwiesen der Familie Sorre als auch von Streuobstwiesen der Einwohner Plerguers und Umgebung.
Verkostungsnotiz
Kraftvolle, fruchtige Aromenintensität, begleitet von einer feinen Bitterkeit und leichten Adstringenz – zugleich elegant, frisch und genussvoll. Trocken vinifiziert, mit spürbarem apfeltypischem Charakter und angenehmer Frische.
