The Brut Vintage 2014 from Louis Roederer is made exclusively with grapes from the La Montagne vineyard. The secret to the success of this vintage lies in both its soils and the work of our winemakers. The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness, producing a great vintage with a seductive, generous, and crisp texture.
Taste:
Intense bubbles permeate the Brut Vintage in the glass, with a bright, golden yellow, slightly amber shimmer. A mild, almost sweet bouquet, intense and richly structured with notes of yellow and red fruits (peaches, currants), slightly acidic. This is complemented by spicy notes (cocoa bean) and smoky aromas. On the palate, it is broad, fruity, and dense. The concentrated, ripe red fruit transforms into nectar.
Production:
Only in good years does the cellar master decide to produce a vintage champagne. This mainly includes the first vineyards acquired by the house. The Cuvée Vintage consists of 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay and is aged on its lees for an average of 4 years. After disgorgement, the wine rests for at least 6 months to complete its maturation. Its texture is distinct and creamy, contrasting with its freshness.
Serving Suggestion:
Enjoy chilled at 8-10°C. The freshness of this Roederer Brut Vintage is excellent as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood, poultry, and spicy cheese.
