The Port Askaig Cask Strength carries untamed Islay aromas. The cask-strength small-batch bottling consists of no more than 60 casks from a distillery located on Islay's northeast coast.
Port Askaig transparently communicates the cask composition through a code. Batch #01-2023 combines – much like the Port Askaig 100 Proof – 25% First Fill Toasted Bourbon Barrels and 75% Refill American Oak Hogsheads to create layers of sweetness and spice intertwined with the classic Islay smoke.
