Luce Grappa Invecchiata
This grappa from Tenuta Luce della Vite, made from Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, ages for over three years in barriques before bottling and is characterized by a first-class bouquet where fruity and spicy notes stand out. Full-bodied, it reveals great finesse and aromatic complexity.
Palate:
On the palate, it is initially austere and concentrated, reminiscent of sherry and honey with moderate spice notes; followed by aromas of dried fruits (nectarine), cloves, plums, dark raisins. Towards the end, it shows great finesse and aromatic diversity.
Nose:
The nose first perceives aromas of fruit bread and cinnamon, nutmeg and honey, later joined by facets of dried tropical fruits (banana, pineapple) and vanilla cream - which together create a magnificent bouquet.
Color:
To the eye, it presents itself exceptionally clear in a gleaming gold with straw-yellow and silver reflections.
Serving temperature:
It is recommended to serve the distillate at 18-20 degrees Celsius in a tulip glass.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal as a finishing touch to a meal, an elegant companion to dark chocolate.
