At that time, there were over 30 distilleries on the Kintyre Peninsula, which was a stronghold of illegal distillers. But after only 72 years, the distillery was closed. In 1973, the Springbank Distillery revived the \"Longrow\" legend: For the first time, they produced a \"Longrow\" again, according to a special secret recipe. This rarity has been produced once a year since 1989.
