The Dragon Series

Under the name THE DRAGON SERIES, Bladnoch Distillery has released a limited edition set – five bottlings, each symbolizing a stage in whisky production.
At each stage, numerous factors influence the final product, thus the process resembles a dragon's curve.

Stage 1 – FIELD to DISTILLERY

Tasting Notes: Creamy, fruity, floral.
Nose: Light, fresh and fruity, fruit drops, fresh grass.
Palate: Rich and creamy like freshly baked sponge cake, like warm malt aromas during production.

First Fill Spanish Oak Sherry & First Fill American Bourbon Casks, 49.9% vol.
Tasting Notes: Creamy, rich, spicy.
Nose: Fresh oak notes like walking through the cooperage, cinnamon, citrus and ginger.
Palate: Vanilla, toffee and popcorn from American oak married with tannins, spicy ginger and dried fruit from Spanish oak.

Stage 4 – NEWMAKE to MATURE WHISKY
