To experience a true whisky adventure, the distillery's founder, John Duff, traveled to Kentucky and South Africa. Upon his return to Scotland in 1898, he built the BenRiach Distillery in the beautiful Speyside. It is due to his adventurous spirit that BenRiach unconventionally explores the art of distillation and cask maturation, pushing the boundaries of malt alchemy like no other. BenRiach distills three malt whisky styles – unpeated, peated, and triple distilled – and holds some of the most experimental casks in Speyside.
