Nose: Initially quite reserved, the Armagnac then unleashes a powerful broadside of aromas: caramel and fudge notes and the bitter sweetness of crème brûlée crust alternate with rosewater, marzipan and vanilla pudding, before finishing with vinous notes, forest honey, raisins and a hint of winter spices…
Taste: Warming and sweet with vanilla, forest honey and vinous aromas, accompanied by a melange of dried fruits, rosewater, violet pastilles, orange oil and spices
Finish: Very long and slightly dry, we find herbs and the spicy sweetness of bitter oranges, followed by kola nuts and a pleasant oak spice
