A winery intended for a "small circle" that has been run by the same family since the 19th century. This wine is a grand yet exceptionally charming Pomerol classic of the appellation and is guaranteed to impress you with its aromatic delicacy and silky tannins.
Taste:
The Château La Pointe has a very deep garnet red color and a cedar nose that begins over a core of warm black cherries, blackberry pie, and spice cake, as well as nuances of mossy bark. On the palate, it starts deliciously sweet and radiates these juicy black fruit aromas. Then the acidity kicks in, making it wonderfully fresh and elegant.
Production:
After manual harvesting, the grapes are selected. Fermentation and maceration were carried out classically at controlled temperatures for 12 to 15 days. After malolactic fermentation, the best wines were selected for the assemblage of Château La Pointe 2019 and aged for 18-20 months in oak barrels. The aging contributes to the development of the wine, gently oxygenates it, and refines it.

Ideal with grilled meats, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
