As a grand wine of the estate, the Château Sénéjac 2018 reveals the expression of the Haut-Médoc terroir.
Taste:
The 2018 Château Sénéjac is deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of warm berries, earth, herbs, and tobacco, as well as floral hints. The palate is full-bodied and rich with fine-grained tannins, beautiful freshness, and good length. A Bordeaux from Haut-Médoc that the impatient can enjoy today, but those who want to wait still have several years to unlock its full potential.
Production:
Château Sénéjac 2018 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 25-28 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and matures for up to 15 months in about 30 percent new oak.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
