Bottled from a Sherry Butt, the 34-year-old Invergordon "YULETIDE FORTUNES" offers a wealth of aromas of fruitcake, ginger and toffee, underpinned by fresh herbal notes. Its 54% caress the palate and help it to a long finish.
Nose: Immediately spicy on the nose, with aromas of cinnamon, ginger and cloves, before revealing notes of sweet candied fruits and demerara sugar.
Palate: The palate is fresh and lively. A grassy, herbaceous note fades to reveal mint, sweet spices and oranges with cloves.
Finish: The addition of water intensifies the spiciness, making it soft and round with a long-lasting finish.
