For centuries, smoke has been an integral part of Ardbeg's distillation process. Now the company is releasing a new set, consisting of a bottle of Ardbeg An Oa and a small but powerful smoker puck.
The round and subtly smoky aromas of Ardbeg An Oa are the perfect complement to BBQ. Smoke your food with the smoker puck and combine your creations with a sip of whisky.
For An Oa's multifaceted character, the whiskies mature in three different types of casks – Pedro Ximénez Sherry, virgin charred oak casks and ex-bourbon casks, and are then carefully blended in a specially designed marrying vat.

Whiskies matured in three different types of wood casks are combined in a marrying vat specially designed by Ardberg. Former Pedro Ximénez sherry casks provide sweetness, virgin charred oak casks provide spice, and former bourbon casks guarantee the characteristic Ardbeg intensity. In its entirety, this single malt unfolds an impressive balance and harmony. Bottled without chill-filtration.
