Climate/Terroir:
Studio by Miraval comes from parcels above the French Riviera, surrounded by olive and pine trees. They influence this cuvée together with the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. The salty soils also give it a unique character with an almost iodine-like finish.
Vinification:
All the grapes are vinified by direct pressing. The Cinsault and Tibouren grape varieties are fermented in stainless steel tanks, while Grenache and Rolle are partially aged in concrete egg-shaped vats with curved bottoms. In these egg-shaped containers, the wine circulates naturally, so that the fine lees are constantly suspended, similar to bâtonnage. The resulting wines are characterized by a special richness and creaminess.
Color: Very pale pink color
Nose: Aromas of fresh fruit and citrus.
Palate: Powerful with notes of citrus and white flowers. Slightly salty finish.
Recommendation: This special rosé is ideal as an aperitif, with fish, antipasti, and light dishes.
